Focus and Scope
Didaktika is an open-access scholarly journal managed by the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program, focusing on research in elementary education. The journal accepts research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and the development of models/pedagogies, particularly in the following areas:

Articles
Every published article will undergo copyediting, layout, and proofreading.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts are screened by the editors for alignment with the journal’s focus and scope. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for double‑blind peer review by at least two reviewers. The final decision is made by the editor based on the reviewers’ recommendations. The average review time is 4–8 weeks.
- Desk evaluation by editors and plagiarism check.
- Assignment of reviewers and double‑blind peer review.
- Decision: accepted / minor revision / major revision / rejected.
- Revision by authors and verification by editors/reviewers.
- Copyediting, layout, and online publication.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. Each issue contains articles selected through the editorial and peer‑review processes.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles without charge.
Archiving
The journal uses the LOCKSS system and/or the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, enabling them to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Publication Ethics
This publication ethics statement follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. Ethical responsibilities apply to editors, reviewers, and authors to ensure scientific integrity.
Duties of Editors
- Make final decisions on manuscripts based on scholarly reviews.
- Ensure a fair, unbiased, and confidential review process.
- Manage conflicts of interest and take action on suspected ethical misconduct.
- Maintain the integrity of the academic record and publish corrections or retractions when necessary.
Duties of Reviewers
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
- Keep manuscripts confidential and do not use information for personal advantage.
- Disclose conflicts of interest to the editor.
- Alert editors to substantial similarity or plagiarism and to any ethical concerns.
Duties of Authors
- Ensure the originality of the work; do not plagiarize or submit the same manuscript to more than one journal.
- Present data accurately and make it available, when requested, for verification.
- Disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources; promptly correct significant errors discovered after publication.
- Confirm that all co-authors have approved the final version and agree to its submission.
Plagiarism and Originality
Each manuscript is checked with plagiarism‑detection software prior to review. Citations must be written correctly according to the journal’s style.
Article Processing Cost
This journal charges a publication fee for every accepted article (effective since 2021).
- Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 750,000 per article.
- Costs include copyediting, layout, DOI maintenance, and publishing system upkeep.
- Submission and peer‑review processes are free of charge.
- Waiver requests may be considered for institutional/conference collaborations and certain authors.

Plagiarism Screening
Before entering the peer‑review process, all manuscripts are checked to ensure they are free from plagiarism using Turnitin. The maximum acceptable overall similarity index is 15% (excluding quotations and references). Manuscripts exceeding the threshold will be returned to authors for correction.

The works published in this journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license allows you to share and adapt the material for any purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors.
